View full sizeExpress-Times Photo | MATT SMITHThe Philadelphia Phillies traded Wilson Valdez to the Cincinnati Reds today.The Philadelphia Phillies have traded infielder Wilson Valdez to the Cincinnati Reds for left-handed reliever Jeremy Horst, according to a report on philly.com.Valdez, 33, who spent time at second base, shortstop and third base for the Phillies, batted .249 with one home run and 30 RBIs last season.
Horst, 26, went 0-0 with a 2.93 ERA in 12 relief appearances for the Reds last year. He made 36 appearances for Triple-A Louisville, posting a 1-4 record and 2.81 ERA in 2011.
